Britain’s Morris Lubricants has appointed Craig Bastable as its new marketing manager to support the company’s continued growth in the UK and worldwide.

Bastable, 30, from Dudley, joins the company after spending eight years in business to business marketing with leading industrial distribution companies Brammer plc, Wolverhampton and Hayley Group plc, Halesowen. Specialising in direct, digital and strategic marketing he has developed and implemented many commercially successful initiatives for a host of well-known international brands.

A member for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Craig is a graduate of Wolverhampton University and is currently working towards a Masters degree in marketing.

“I have joined the company at an exciting time as it looks to push forward,” he said. “My role will be to help the company achieve its growth and profitability targets, to identify new markets both in the UK and worldwide and to develop the Morris Lubricants brand. “It’s a strong, international business with great potential that is well respected in the sector yet is not too big to recognise the individual contribution of every member of staff, which I think is important.”

Employing 140 staff, Morris Lubricants is a family-owned, independent UK supplier and manufacturer of specialist oil based lubricants and associated products that are used across a variety of industry sectors, including automotive, agriculture and industrial.
