ANGUS Chemical Announces New, Strategic Distributor Network in Europe

ANGUS Chemical announced a new distribution strategy for the company’s complete portfolio of nitroalkanes and their derivatives sold in Europe. Mobil Jet™ Oil 387 Approved for Pratt & Whitney PurePower® Geared TurbofanTM 1500G Engines

ExxonMobil last Tuesday announced that Mobil JetTM Oil 387 has been approved by Pratt & Whitney for use in its PurePower® Geared TurbofanTM 1500G engines. All Mobil Jet-branded turbine oils, including Mobil Jet Oil 387, Mobil JetTM Oil II and Mobil JetTM Oil 254, are now fully approved for use in a variety of Pratt & Whitney 1500G engines.

Nynas Reports Drop in 4Q and FY 2016 Net Income

Nynas last Friday reported a fourth quarter net loss of SEK 134 (USD14.8) million from a profit of SEK 1 million during the fourth quarter in 2015; full year earnings fell to SEK 75 million from SEK 346 million in 2015. Fourth quarter naphthenics segment posted a loss of SEK 10 million compared to a profit of SEK 180 million during the fourth quarter in 2015.

FUCHS PETROLUB reported that the Group's 2016 sales revenues increased by 9% or EUR 188 million to a new record of EUR 2.3 billion. At EUR 371 million, the Group recorded its best ever earnings before interest and tax (EBIT), and at EUR 260 million, its highest ever earnings after tax.

Calumet Reports 4Q and FY 2016 Results

Calumet Specialty Products Partners last Friday reported that for the latest fourth quarter, the company lost $79.6 million, an improvement compared to the $116.8 million loss during the fourth quarter in 2015. For the full year, Calumet lost $328.6 million, compared to a $139.4 million loss in 2015.
