Motiva Enterprises recently announced that Bryan Schorzman has joined the company as GM Base Oils, Motiva Enterprises, located in Houston, TX, effective January 1, 2015, replacing Michael Lewis, who became Motivas chief procurement officer.
Bryan graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and joined Star Enterprise (Motivas predecessor) in 1994. He subsequently earned a Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. Bryans career has encompassed all facets of Manufacturing at multiple sites and within the Global organization, in addition to supply and commercial experiences in the Refining, Chemicals, and Base Oil businesses.
Separately, Tony Jin has been appointed president of SK Lubricants Americas Inc. Jin most recently served as the base oil global marketing team leader for SK Lubricants Co. Ltd., refiner and marketer of YUBASE® Group III base oils.
Jin has more than 20 years of marketing, planning and management experience within the lubricants, petroleum and marketing industries. He is a graduate of Yonsei University in Seoul as well as numerous management and leadership programs. Jin relocated from Seoul to Houston with his family in January.
