Loadmaster Lubricants, a customized specialty grease solutions company, is undergoing a $2 million expansion which will double the grease manufacturing capability of its 80,000 square foot Hugo, Minnesota plant, including the addition of two new grease reactors with 150 hP colloid mills, to meet continued rapid sales growth.
Todd Shearrer, Vice President Technical Sales told OEM/Lube News "The plant expansion project for 2013 actually starting this month with full completion in the fourth quarter or sooner'.
"We expect continued rapid growth with our current customers and new customers as well. Our hand crafted grease manufacturing approach, combined with our capabilities for technical innovations, continue to bear fruit as they produce marketable sales differentiation and margin drivers for our customers" said Shearrer.
Loadmaster Lubricants private labels greases and very high viscosity gear oils that carry extreme loads in harsh environments. This expansion will facilitate new product sales of more mainstream grease products, but also some new specialty products including more solvent and aqueous based products.
Loadmaster Lubricants, who began commercial grease production and shipments in April 2008, manufactures customized specialty lubricants which Includes lithium greases, lithium complex greases, aluminum complex greases, bentone/clay greases, novel thickeners and additive systems, open gear/mining lubricants, stationary mill lubricants, as well as viscosity modifier solubilization.
