AAA Reports Synthetic Oil Performs Nearly 50 Percent Better than Conventional Oil

According to new research on the quality of engine oil, AAA found that synthetic oil outperformed conventional oil by an average of nearly 50 percent in its independent evaluation, offering vehicles significantly better engine protection for only $5 more per month.


Ford Motor Updates List of Acceptable DEOs

In October 2016, Ford Motor advised that it only recommends oils that meet Ford Material Engineering Specification WSS-M2C171-F1 for use in any of its diesel engines. In December, Ford released a list of over 200 acceptable oils.
