Germany-based Addinol Lube Oil GmbH last week launched their India operation, Addinol Lube Oil India Pvt Ltd. As part of its expansion in India, it plans to set up six to eight zonal offices to support its channel partners.
The company currently has dealers in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala. Following the spreading of its presence in South India, the company will shift focus of expansion to other regions in the country.
Mr. Georg Wildegger, Managing Director, Addinol GmbH. said Addinol is new in India and just placed, within the premium segment the company would like to get a share of 20-25 per cent.
Our customers will find the high performance lubricants results of quality with affordable price and value for money, said India Managing Director Alexy George, who is engaged in spear-heading the companys operations in India.
Alexy George along with companys Director Sales Jacob, is responsible for the development and expansion of the companys presence in Indian market. Alexy George stated that the company expects to cross 1,000 tonne of lubricant sales in India.
The companys products are directly imported and the company does not do any local blending. The Addinol brand of products are all developed and produced at the chemical site Leuna/Saxony-Anhalt according to latest standards, the companys only production plant in Germany.
Addinol Lube Oil GmbH produces and serves almost all engine oils for passenger cars, mixed fleet, commercial vehicles, stationary plants, gas engines, transmission oils and fluids, mould release oils, guideway oils, hydraulic fluids, compressor oils, chain lubricants, anti corrosion oils, circulation and bearing oils. Besides, the companys products also include transformer oils, turbine oils, heat transfer oils, universal greases, liquid greases, high and low temperature greases, special applications oils, food grade lubricants and greases, bio degradable greases and pastes.
In the industrial sector, Addinol provides high performance lubricants for almost all applications including its high performance gear oil Addinol Eco Gear or Addinol Cliptec for the lubrication of the high temperature chains.
In the automotive sector, the company has more than 140 approvals from leading OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). Among the marquee names in the automotive sector include Mercedes Benz, the Volkswagen group, BMW, MAN, Porsche, Scania, Volvo and MTU. Furthermore, the companys develops and provides engine oils for gas engines, in combined heat and power plants operated with natural gases and special gases. Addinol gas engine oils are approved by well known manufacturers such as MAN, MTU Onsite Energy, MWM, and GE Jenbacher.
Addinol, which develops and produces more than 800 lubricants, has over 90 international partners that retail its lubricants worldwide.
Addinol Lube Oil GmbH was founded in 1936 as Mineralolwerk Luetzkendorf. After German reunification the company changed its name to Addinol (Additives in Oil).
