Netherlands-based lubricant data firm Olyslager announced it has appointed Ralph Peeters as Vice-President for Business Development effective 01 June 2015.
Peeters told OEM/Lube News that, as head of business development, he will spearhead the efforts of investigating and collecting OEM data for new markets, as well as focus on developing new products. He will also be involved in key sales initiatives, particularly in North America.
The company said this new appointment is in line with Olyslagers key strategy to solidifying and expanding its global reach which currently covers Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific. With the number of OEMs and vehicle types steadily increasing and requiring data updates, as well as new oil specifications being introduced more often than before, the need to obtain new market data and update existing ones has never been more vital. The company said that its success in Europe over the past 70 years has also opened up new growth areas such as Brazil, China, Russia, Southeast Asia and the USA these past few years.
Furthermore, Olyslager said it is firmly committed as ever to delivering industry-leading solutions such as its Lubricant Information System (LIS) Programme and oil advisor tools, which are currently being used in over 100 countries worldwide.
Ralph joins Olyslager from Dutch additive, chemicals & lubricants manufacturer BRB where he spent the last 13 years of his accomplished career. Having worked in logistics, customer service, account management and in global business development, coupled with extensive exposure in the American, European and North African markets.
