Lube-Tech & Partners Acquires Dyno Oil's Lubes Business

St. Paul, MN-based Lube-Tech & Partners has announced the acquisition of the lubricants business of Dyno Oil Company of Spencer, Iowa. With the Dyno location in Spencer, Iowa, this acquisition increases Lube-Tech's geographic footprint and ability to serve customers in northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota.

The Dyno customers will continue to receive local support from the team they know and trust, and can expect expanded product and service offerings in the future. Lube-Tech remains committed to delivering "peace of mind" to its customers by providing solutions that help them improve performance and their bottom-line through consultative support and one-stop shopping for lubricants, equipment, chemicals, recycling services, and energy solutions, said the company.

"We are excited to welcome the Dyno customers and employees to the Lube-Tech family," says Chris Bame, Lube-Tech & Partners Board Chairman. "We feel the Iowa market provides the opportunity to grow, and the Spencer location will enable us to be closer to many existing Iowa and Minnesota customers."

"This merger will be positive for our customers, employees and our suppliers," says Aaron Sweet of Dyno Oil. "We're excited to offer additional products and services to our customers and leverage Lube-Tech's capabilities." "Dyno Oil would like to thank our customers for their trust and opportunity to serve their lubricant and chemical needs," says Mark Nelson, owner of Dyno Oil. "I believe Lube-Tech's capabilities and expanded offering will increase the value the Spencer operation can deliver to customers."

With the addition of the Spencer location, Lube-Tech & Partners now operates out of eight locations in the upper Midwest. Chris Bame added, "We will continue to pursue acquisitions that expand our team of employees, customer base, and bring expanded capabilities to Lube-Tech & Partners."

Lube-Tech & Partners was formed in June 2016 by the founding companies including Boyer Petroleum (Des Moines, IA), Lubrication Technologies (St. Paul, MN), and Moore Oil (Milwaukee, WI). The merged organization has built upon the founder's long history of an employee-first, customer-focused approach to business. Based in St. Paul, MN, Lube-Tech & Partners has operations in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The company distributes and produces over 20 million gallons of lubricants and chemicals and employs over 200 employees.

Dyno Oil Company, Inc. was founded by Del Nelson in 1958 with operations including a fuel bulk plant and service stations. As customer needs changed, Dyno Oil established convenience stores with self-service fueling as well as a lubricants and chemical distribution business. Dyno Oil now owns and operates eleven Dyno's Convenience Stores in Iowa in the towns of Spencer, Milford, Hartley, Spirit Lake, Emmetsburg, Storm Lake, Paullina, Sanborn, Pocahontas, and Sibley.
