Eaton has revised its Roadranger Lubricant Products Manual (TCMT0021), which covers lubrication of its transmissions, transfer cases, hydraulic launch assist, drive axles, steer axles and clutches.

 

This manual includes Transmission lubrication, specifying the use of Roadranger SAE 50 Synthetic Transmission Lubricant (which is extended drain and severe service capable), lubrication procedures and transmission oil drain interval lists for various Eaton transmissions for (individual lists) NAFTA, Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific, India, Africa and Middle East.

 

Included also is the recommendation of Roadranger HLA High Performance Hydraulic Fluid (formulated with Group III base oils) for use in Hydraulic Launch Assist (HLA) including drain interval lists. In this section, lubrication of the transfer case is shown with the recommendation of Roadranger FE 75W-90 along with recommended maintenance and drain interval.

 

Following this are the recommendations for the required grease for lubrication of Eaton Clutches (Roadranger Grease EP-2) and Service Interval List as well as the proper lubrication of Eaton Axles (Roadranger® Synthetic Gear Axle Lubricants FE75W-90, 75W-90 and 80W-140).
