Deere & Company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Wirtgen Group, a privately-held international leading manufacturer worldwide of road construction equipment. The purchase price for the equity is EUR 4.357 (USD 4.88) billion in an all-cash transaction.

Gen III Oil Corporation announced last Monday the signing of a Letter of Intent with Elbow River Marketing Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Parkland Fuel Corporation, for a five-year off-take marketing agreement of Gen III's Group III and Group II+ base oils from its Bowden re-refinery.

A new facility for production of Group III-quality base oils has been commissioned at the JSC Slavneft-YANOS refinery, part of OAO NGK Slavneft, a joint enterprise between Gazprom Neft PJSC and Rosneft.

With the introduction of API CK-4 and API FA-4 diesel engine categories, Cummins developed two new standards, CES 20086 and CES 20087. Cummins has updated its CES 20086 list of API CK-4 registered oils, now at 83 oils, up from 57 oils when we last published the list.
