The 12-chart series of the Sixth Edition of our Synthetic Industrial Lubricant Cross Reference Chart Series is now complete. This 12-set series consists of fully synthetic lubricants marketed by hundreds of worldwide lube manufacturing & marketing companies and industrial equipment OEMs.
Included with the 12-chart series of finished synthetic lubricants comprising our Sixth Edition of the Synthetic Industrial Lubricant Cross Reference Chart Series Book are the revised API Group IV (PAO) and API Group V (synthetics only) Basestock charts. The former, PAO basestocks, was presented two weeks ago, and the API Group V synthetic basestocks is presented this week.
These revised basestock charts show the latest basestock cuts and names, along with the nominal, or typical, viscosities. Many new basestocks were added, as well as obsolete ones deleted. Also, we have added the location of the refineries that produce these basestocks as well as any industry updates.
The complete Synthetic Lubricant Cross Reference Chart Book is scheduled to be published in digital format next week.
