Chevron announced that Chevron Neutral Oil 60R, an all-hydroprocessed low viscosity base oil, produced by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is now being sold in Europe. Chevron Neutral Oil 60R can improve the performance of a broad range of industrial oil applications including transformer oils and low viscosity hydraulic oils, as well as many process oil applications.

Old World Industries, LLC, through an exclusive partnership agreement with Q8Oils, is expanding its product portfolio and will now offer a new line of engine oil products for the stationary gas engine market in North and South America. Navitus Stationary Gas Engine Oil will be marketed under the PEAK with Q8Oils Technology brand name.

North American Lubricants Co. announced that Aaron Read has been appointed as interim president replacing Todd Peterson who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Aaron Read takes over as interim president after ten years with North American Lubricants and has held such positions as VP of Sales and most recently VP of North American Lubricants.

UAE-based Gulf Petrochem Group last Wednesday said it has renamed its recently-acquired Sah Petroleums, an Indian listed lubricant company, as GP Petroleums Ltd. Gulf Petrochem acquired 72.23 percent in GP Petroleums in July last year. Later in October, an open offer was made for the remaining 26 percent.

Parman Energy Corporation, a Nashville-based petroleum distributor, announced that it is now an employee-owned company. The company's original owners, Don Crichton and Johnny Jewell III, sold stock to the company's newly established Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in a transaction that closed February 20, 2015.
