GM dexos1™ (1st Gen) Oils List Expands to 855 Oils; GM dexos1™ Gen 2 Oils List Now Contains 78 Oils

When we last published a story on this subject, the number of General Motors approved dexos1™ oils was 224. There are now 855 dexos1™ (First Generation) oils and 78 dexos1™ Gen 2 (a.k.a. dexos1™:2015) oils listed. dexos1™ (First Generation) licenses will become obsolete as of September 1, 2017.

TOTAL Signs Lubricant Supply Agreement with UK's First Bus

TOTAL Lubricants has been appointed as the lubricant and coolants supplier for First Bus, one of Britain’s largest bus operators with around a fifth of bus services outside London. The long-term mutual supplier agreement will see TOTAL supply both lubricants and coolants to the 6,200 strong First Bus fleet.

OG&A BioSpecialties to Build 1000 BPD BioWax and BioEster Plant

OG&A BioSpecialties announced last Monday that engineering, procurement and construction activities are underway for the company's 1,000 bpd Owensboro, Kentucky "HDX" Project for BioWax and BioEster production. The facility will be completed by year end 2017 and commercial operations will commence in 2018.
