ExxonMobil Aviation recently had a ground breaking ceremony for its new blending and packaging center for synthetic aviation lubricants in Port Allen, La. This new facility, set to be operational by early 2015, will feature advanced manufacturing capabilities for the production of future jet engine oil technologies, including Mobil's newest addition, Mobil Jet Oil™ 387.

Agip has rebranded as Eni, while simultaneously announcing plans to increase penetration of its lubricant brands in North America across all industries. All Agip product names have been replaced with the new eni international brand name, while the company's legendary six-legged dog and company colors continue to be its logo.

In early July of this year, Chevron announced plans to build a 50-story 1.7-million-square-foot office tower in downtown Houston and create what it called an “urban campus” for its growing Houston workforce. This past week, Chevron said those plans are now on hold as the company focuses its resources elsewhere.
