Russian Truck OEM KAMAZ Introduces Its Own Brand Engine Oils

KAMAZ, Russia's largest truck manufacturer has recently developed and introduced to the market its own brand of engine oils via a partnership agreement between the company and LLK International, Lukoil’s lubricants subsidiary. KAMAZ, KAMAZ OPTIMUM and KAMAZ PROFESSIONAL mineral, semi-synthetic and synthetic motor oils will be distributed and sold by OOO Uralskaya Manufaktura.

Fuchs Petrolub Posts Record FY 2012 Earnings

FUCHS PETROLUB AG reported last Friday that it set new record levels both for sales revenues and earnings. Sales revenues increased by 10% to EUR 1,819 million (provisional) in 2012 compared with EUR 1,652 million in 2011. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) and profit after tax both rose 11% to EUR 293 million and 13% to EUR 207 million, respectively.

Universal Lubricants® announced last Tuesday the opening of a new 52,000-square-foot oil warehouse and distribution center in Dallas, TX. Universal Lubricants also announced that it will serve as the delivery agent for Valvoline in the Dallas market. Universal Lubricants already distributes Valvoline lubricants and chemicals in Kansas City and Wichita, Kansas.

Terex Divesting Roadbuilding Equipment Manufacturing in Oklahoma City, OK and Porto Allegre, Brazil

Terex announced recently that it is selling its Roadbuilding operations in Brazil and certain mobile roadbuilding product lines in the U.S. to the Fayat Group (Bomag and Marini). Product lines include asphalt plants and pavers manufactured in Porto Allegre, Brazil, and assets for the asphalt paver, reclaimer stabilizer and material transfer product lines currently manufactured in Oklahoma City.
