ExxonMobil is launching Mobil ServSM Lubricant Analysis, a new mobile-enabled used oil analysis service, in the United States and Canada.
The new service streamlines the entire used oil analysis process, from initial sample gathering to final reporting, as the mobile-enabled platform eliminates the need for paperwork.
Specifically, companies use QR coded scan-and-go bottles to easily deliver used oil samples to ExxonMobils oil analysis laboratory. Once these samples are analyzed, customers can access the results and customized equipment recommendations on their mobile or tablet device.
Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis offers application-specific analysis options including hydraulic, gearbox, engine, compressor, powertrain and circulating analysis, among others for a wide range of industries, enabling companies to choose the option that best fits their specific needs.
Comprehensive used oil analysis programs provide companies with the data they need to understand equipment performance and how that impacts their operations productivity, said Geoffrey Polanek, Global Initiatives Advisor at ExxonMobil Fuels, Lubricants & Specialties Marketing Company. By offering easy-to-use tools, like Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis,ExxonMobil can help customers gather used oil analysis data far more efficiently, as well as recommend the right approach to optimize equipment performance, to help improve the health of their operation.
The launch of Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis builds on ExxonMobils long tradition of providing leading used oil analysis services to companies around the world. For example, ExxonMobils Kansas City laboratory achieved a major milestone late last year when it processed its thirteenth million used oil sample since its inception in 1969.
