Specialty lubricants manufacturer, Whitmore, based in Rockwall, TX, has announced that Robert (Bob) McCreary has joined the company as Whitmore’s International Sales Manager. He brings more than 35 years of field experience to the Whitmore leadership team. Before joining Whitmore, McCreary spent 21 years in maintenance management in the Powder River Basin and 16 years at Arch Coal’s corporate office as the Director of Technical & Maintenance Services. At Whitmore, Bob will be focused on expanding the company’s presence in South Africa, India, Europe and Russia.

“Robert brings a wealth of expertise and hands-on experience in the mining industry,” said Jack Ellis, Vice-President of Sales. “He understands the unique challenges of heavy industry and brings insights into how Whitmore can better serve this area of its customer base.”

In his previous position, McCreary developed a maintenance management program focused on equipment reliability, condition monitoring/predictive measures, preventative maintenance and maintenance planning and scheduling.

“A good oil-management program is the foundation for equipment reliability,” said McCreary. “I believe the products and services offered by Whitmore would enhance any fluid-management program worldwide.”
