Castrol to Become BP's Sole Marine Lube Brand

Castrol has announced that it will become the sole brand for BP’s marine lubricant offering. The transition to consolidate the marine lubricants currently provided under both BP Marine and Castrol Marine brands has been in progress for over two years. BP's main grade marine lubricant products and services will be moved over to their Castrol equivalents in the coming months.

Pertamina to Acquire Thai Lubricants Blender, Amaco; Aims to be in Top-15 Lube Companies

Pertamina Lubricants is acquiring Amaco Production Co. Ltd, a lubricants blender in Bangkok, Thailand. Amaco Production produces lubricants under the ‘AMCO’ brand. It owns a blending plant with a production capacity of 45,000 tons of lubricants per year. PT Pertamina Lubricants also said it aims to be among the 15 largest lubricant producers in the world in 2018.
