Exol Lubricants, which supplies lubricants and associated products for passenger car, commercial vehicle, agricultural, rail and industrial applications, is investing more than £2 (US$3) million in redeveloping its head office and manufacturing site, based in Wednesbury, UK.
Exol Lubricants is completely overhauling the current site to create a more efficient manufacturing facility which will include the demolition of the current building and the construction of a modern, steel-framed premises, which will house a new research laboratory and production line.
Steve Dunn, Exol Lubricants sales director, said: "The redevelopment of our head office and manufacturing facility has been meticulously planned and designed to ensure customers benefit from an enhanced level of service from Exol Lubricants. It will create a much more efficient manufacturing process, along with enhanced communication throughout the various company departments."
The redevelopment of the 120,000 sq ft site will commence in July 2013 and is expected to take six months to complete. Exol Lubricants is also making improvements to its Rotherham site.
According to Exoll Lubricants' website, the company is the largest independent lubricants company in the UK, manufacturing and supplying a range of lubricants and associated products to industry, agriculture, transport, automotive and garage sectors from its two sites in Birmingham and Rotherham. Research and development is based at the company's headquarters in the Midlands in the UK.
