Calumet Packaging, a division of Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. last Tuesday introduced a new line of high performance Food-Grade Lubricants. In addition to being compliant with all food, health and safety regulations, Calumet's Ultra F line of Food-Grade Lubricants are Kosher certified and CGMP compliant.

According to the company, the Ultra F line of lubricants offers excellent lubricity at a low cost, low volatility, improved oxidation life stability, superior water separation and advanced foaming properties. The Ultra F Food-Grade Lubricants by Calumet also deliver improved wear prevention properties and protection against thermal breakdown.

"Lubrication Engineers realize that a high performance food grade oil or grease can go a long way toward combating severe operating conditions, while preventing the toll these conditions can take on expensive machinery," stated Jim Adams, Sales Manager for Calumet Packaging's Food-Grade Lubricants. "With the addition of our Ultra F line of Food-Grade Lubricants, our customers have access to high-performance food grade lubricants that are specially formulated to meet the high demands and short lead times typical of the food and beverage industries."

The New Ultra F Food-Grade Lubricants can be used in a variety of applications ranging from food handling machinery lubricants and meat processing related applications to machinery cleaner lubricant and trolley lubricant.
