Peter Greven Group, a manufacturer of oleochemical derivatives, has formed Norac Additives LLC having acquired the assets of the additives division of US company Norac, Inc., effective September 30, 2017.
Peter Greven Group, founded in 1923, has its headquarters in Bad Muenstereifel, Germany, with additional production sites in Venlo, the Netherlands and Penang, Malaysia (Joint Venture), as well as sales offices in Paris, France and Freehold, New Jersey, USA. Peter Greven Group is well positioned internationally, with a broad product range containing metallic and alkali soaps as well as esters and dispersions.
With the product line LIGALUB - Sustainable Ester Lubes, the company has developed a product which is specifically tailored to the lubricant industry. Its product line includes high-quality LIGALUB® mono, glycerol, polyol and complex esters which are used as base oils for a variety of lubricants.
Peter Greven base oils and additives are used in the lubricant industry, especially in the following applications: Hydraulic oils, Gear oils, Chain oils, Greases, Metal working fluids. other Lubricants.
In addition to the company's range of base oils its product portfolio contains high quality metallic soaps, alkaline soaps and fatty acids that are used as additives for different lubricant applications including grease manufacturing. These include Calcium soaps, Lithium soaps, Aluminium soaps and Fatty acids.
Norac Additives has its headquarters and development lab in Pomona, California, USA and a production site in Helena, Arkansas, USA. The company specializes in the production and sale of various plastic additives, including metallic stearates, ester lubricants and PVC heat stabilizers.
The company makes calcium stearates, aluminum stearates, lithium stearates and other types of stearates used to make greases.
