Gazpromneft Signs Lubes Factory-Fill Deal

Gazpromneft Lubricants has signed an agreement of cooperation with AgromashHolding, one of Kazakhstan’s leading industrial enterprises producing Peugeot, Toyota, Hyundai, SsangYong, Iveco, Geely, and JAC Motors cars as well as grain and forage harvesters.

According to the agreements, Gazpromneft Lubricants shall considerably extend its supplies of engine and hydraulic oils, anti-freeze, and other products for light duty cars, trucks and agricultural machinery to the enterprise. The agreements call for shipping approximately 250 tonnes of products by the end of 2015.

Professionals from Gazpromneft Lubricants will monitor on a regular basis the effectiveness of the oil use, test the products in the production facilities of AgromashHolding and select oils and technical fluids that will maximize the characteristics of the machinery produced by the enterprise. The parties also plan to implement varied services and marketing programs some of which are meant to support the users of the agricultural machinery while others are designed for auto dealers and their clientele.

Gazpromneft Lubricants (Gazpromneft-SM LTD), a subsidiary enterprise of Gazprom Neft, and the third largest lube marketer in Russia after Lukoil and Rosneft, specializes in the production and sales of oils, lubricants and technical liquids. Established in November 2007, Gazpromneft Lubricants has 5 production sites in Russia, Italy and Serbia. Total production volume is 500 thousand tons of base oils, lubricants and technical fluids per year. The company holds 14% of the market of lubricants in Russia, as well as it is working in the Mediterranean countries, the Balkans, Eastern and Northern Europe, CIS, Baltic States, Central and South-East Asia, Africa and others. The company’s production is represented in more than 50 countries of the world.

In 2014, at the Omsk Lubricants Production Plant, the second phase of high-technology complex for blending, filling and packaging of engine oils was put into operation. This production, the most modern in Russia, is designed for output of 300 thousand tons of oils, lubricants and technical fluids. The company supplies its products to the Russian makers of Mercedes Benz Trucks Vostok, KZ ROSTSELMASH, DERWAYS JSC, KAMAZ, AVTOTOR (for Hyundai cars). The company’s products have more than 250 approvals of leading equipment manufacturers: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Volvo, Renault, General Motors, Caterpillar, MAN, Scania, KAMAZ, Bosch Rexroth and others.

AgromashHolding, JSC is the only Kazakhstan’s industrial group manufacturing SsangYong, Peugeot cars as well as agricultural machinery including grain harvesters and forage harvesters and supplementary products. Located in the industrial zone in the city Kostanay, the company has a wide distribution network with service branches and dealer centres all over the Republic of Kazakhstan which mainly deal with machinery, spare parts and components sales.
