Rosneft Signs Cooperation Agreement with Russian Auto OEM Autovaz

Rosneft, Russia's second largest lubricants marketer after Lukoil, has signed an agreement with Avtovaz, Russia’s largest auto maker, which includes the supply of Rosneft lubricants for factory fill of Autovaz cars. The agreement also envisages the development, testing and introduction of other Rosneft oil products required by AVTOVAZ businesses.

Nynas Posts Excellent 2Q and 1H 2014

Nynas reported that its net sales grew to 6,364 SEK (US$900) million for the second quarter, up nearly 18% compared to 5,398 SEK million and, for the first six months of 2014 to 10,491 SEK million, up 26% compared to 8,312 SEK million. EBITDA was 402 SEK million in Q2 compared to 132 SEK million and, for the first half year, to 476 SEK million compared to 63 SEK million.

Benefuel/Felda Global JV to Acquire Mission Biodiesel Plant in Malaysia

Benefuel Inc. announced that a joint venture formed by its subsidiary, Benefuel International Holdings S.A.R.L., and a subsidiary of Felda Global Ventures Sdn. Bhd., the world’s largest crude palm oil producer, have entered into an agreement to acquire a 250,000 metric tons per year biodiesel plant in Kuantan Port, Malaysia.
