DKSH, a Zurich, Switzerland-based trading company, has recently expanded its partnership with Shell Lubricants into Myanmar, to provide marketing, sales, distribution, merchandising, logistics and back office services to support Shell's market entry into Myanmar's B2C channels. For the past several years, DKSH has been distributing Shell lubricants in Thailand.
"With the lifting of sanctions by the EU and the USA, Myanmar is a very promising market with significant opportunities and will contribute to the growth of South East Asia. Shell and DKSH have been in a partnership since 2010, and we are very much looking forward to this important expansion of our collaboration in Myanmar where we foresee similar success," said Somboon Prasitjutrakul, Head Business Unit Consumer Goods.
