Total Nigeria and SANY Nigeria to Market Co-branded Total Sany Lubes

Total Nigeria has signed a supply agreement with Sany Nigeria Company Ltd to produce lubricants that will be co-branded as Total Sany. This follows a global cooperation agreement signed by Total Lubrifiants and Sany Group Company Limited in China, in which the two companies became partners for the sales of Total lubricants across Sany Group’s overseas networks.

Clean Harbors Increases Used Oil Collection Fees

Clean Harbors last Tuesday announced that its Safety-Kleen subsidiary again is revising pricing related to managing used engine and industrial oils. Effective immediately, Safety-Kleen Environmental will be targeting an increase of $80 per stop with all customers across its used oil customer base, in the U.S. and Canada.

Lawsuit Filed Against Dollar General; Motor Oil Unsuitable for Today's Cars

According to a December 22, 2015 article appearing in the Houston Chronicle, a Houston man has filed a class-action lawsuit in federal court against Dollar General, claiming that the company sells a line of motor oils that are unsuitable for today's cars.
