Shell Lubricants last Tuesday announced several recent senior appointments within the company's business. These include Andrew Hepher as Vice President of Global Commercial Technology, Carol Chen, as General Manager for Consumer Lubricants Marketing, Roger Moulding as Global Lubricants Marketing & Lubricants Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa and Selda Gunsel as General Manager of Products & Quality.
Selda Gunsel, has been appointed as General Manager of Products & Quality in Shells Lubricants Supply Chain organisation. In her new assignment, Selda will work to drive continuous improvement in the design, sourcing, development and deployment of Shell's lubricant products and product portfolio. Previous to this role, Selda was Vice President of Global Commercial Technology. She will continue to be based out of Houston, USA.
Andrew Hepher takes over as Vice President of Global Commercial Technology. Previously, Andrew was General Manager for Consumer Lubricants Marketing. Andrew began his career as a biotechnologist in Shell Research in the UK, having been previously employed on a Shell-funded post-doctoral fellowship at Durham University. Since then he has worked in a wide variety of commercial roles, including assignments in the Caribbean, US, Germany and The Netherlands. Andrew was also previously Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio for Shell Energy Europe and then the General Manager for the B2B lubricants business in North America. He previously led the global accounts team for the Automotive sector, working with companies such as Hyundai, Renault-Nissan and Toyota. Andrew is based in London, UK.
Carol Chen, currently Marketing General Manager for Shell's China/HK Lubricants business, will take over Andrews current role as General Manager for Consumer Lubricants Marketing. Prior to joining Shell, she had 20 years work experience in Proctor & Gamble marketing and worked in 4 different locations including assignments in China, Canada, USA and Singapore. Carol will move to be based in London, UK.
Lastly, Roger Moulding, currently Vice President for Global Key Accounts and Marketing will change the areas he covers to Global Lubricants Marketing & Lubricants Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa. Roger has worked in a number of international business roles and set up Shells highly successful Global Key Accounts business. Roger will continue to be based in London, UK.
