Dutch additive company BRB International announced it is forming a 65/35 joint venture with Ban Guan Chemical to build a VI improver plant in Singapore. The joint venture will be named Viscotech Asia Pte. Ltd. and will be headquartered in 5 Tanjong Penjuru Crescent, Singapore 608970. Operation at the company’s facility in Singapore will commence July 2016.

BRB, headquartered in Ittervoort, Netherlands, will market the olefin copolymer viscosity modifiers through its Singapore office,

Ban Guan will be manufacturing and supplying the dissolved polymers in bulk carriers, iso tanks, IBC’s and drums. The Viscotech® products are available through BRB Singapore Pte Ltd.

BRB’s CEO, Mr. Ralph Pinckaers states: "We are looking forward to our new relationship and have planned for profitable growth in the joint venture.
