Valvoline, a business unit of Ashland Inc., has named Oiltech Lubes Service GmbH & Co. KG as sales and logistics business partner for the complete line of Valvoline high-performance lubricants and automotive chemicals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, effective immediately. Oiltech Lubes Service GmbH & Co. KG has also been named authorized Tectyl Sales and Logistics business partner in Austria and Switzerland.
Based in Erkrath, Germany, Oiltech is a recognized specialist in the lubricants market, providing strong customer service, application support and logistics expertise to automotive and industrial customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

According to its website, Oiltech, founded in 2001, sells more than 4.000 tons of lubricants each year. The company is Sales- and Brand affiliate of Chevron Belgium N.V.. for Texaco lubricants, also for the brand Mabanol, which has been created and successfully installed by Mabanol GmbH & Co. KG (the majority shareholder of Oiltech) in the last few years. Besides these major brands Oiltech also deals with its own private Label brand Oiltech and refills high quality products in private label brands of many well-known lubricant resellers.
At the location in Erkrath, the company has one hectare property with an office and warehouse complex of 2.500 square meters (including state-of-the-art refilling equipment) in which more than 400.000 liters lubricants are stored.
Valvoline, claimed to be the worlds first engine oil brand, was introduced by Dr John Ellis Valvoline in 1866.
